In ancient times, under the olive tree where Homer once sat in the region of Smyrna (modern-day İzmir), the wise old tree whispered in his ear:
"I belong to everyone and to no one. I was here before you came, and I will remain long after you are gone." Inspired by the olive tree a symbol of healing, mythology, and endurance dating back over 40,000 years we set out on a journey to honor its legacy and the timeless essence of olive oil.
Our cold-pressed olive oils are cultivated through good agricultural practices from 22,000 olive trees nestled in Bademler Village, a district of Urla, İzmir. Nourished by the northeastern winds and the unique climate of the Aegean, our groves lie at altitudes ranging between 15 and 170 meters. This convergence of geography and climate enables us to offer you olive oils with unexpectedly rich and nuanced aromas.
We harvest olives from a single estate at the precise moment their hues shift from green to purple. These fruits are cold-pressed on the very same day, preserving their freshness and nutritional richness. From our Trilye and Ayvalık variety olive trees, we extract oils that contain ideal levels of polyphenols, oleic acid, oleocanthal, and tocopherols all celebrated for their health benefits. Our oils are naturally low in acidity and crafted not for yield, but for quality.
With each harvest, our purpose remains unchanged: not to produce more, but to produce better. In creating Olivvi, our aim has always been to share an olive oil we would proudly serve at our own table healthy, ethically produced, traceable to its origin, and rich in character.
